Don Jacobs, VMD

Dr. Don Jacobs has been caring for animals at Mission Valley Pet Clinic since 1999.

He was born in New Jersey, and obtained his Bachelors of Science degree from Rutgers University.  He then received his VMD (Veterinary Medical Doctorate) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jacobs was a practice owner in New Jersey for many years before he relocated to San Diego. In addition to general medicine, Dr. Jacobs’s special interest is surgery.

In his free time, Dr. Jacobs volunteers with the police department, the Museum of Natural History and with Pomerado Hospital.  He is an avid sports fan, and enjoys the art and cultural events that San Diego offers.

Dr. Jacobs has one cat, Snowflake.
