Dr. Erica Johnson was born and raised in San Diego and earned her undergraduate degree from Cal Poly Pomona before attending Western University of Health Sciences for veterinary school. Since graduating, she has worked in general practice, urgent care, relief, and high-volume spay/neuter, gaining a wide range of experience in veterinary medicine. She especially enjoys building long-lasting relationships with clients in the general practice setting.
At home, Dr. Johnson enjoys life with her husband, their toddler, and their rescue pit bull, Kona. Fun fact: Kona was part of their wedding, and Dr. Johnson both adopted and spayed her while in veterinary school. A dedicated rescue advocate and pit bull lover, she also frequently fosters underage kittens.
