Dr. Kristen Frank

Veterinarian

Dr. Frank is a New Jersey native and Mississippi State veterinary graduate who has participated in South African wildlife conservation, and now enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, a tuxedo cat, and a rescued pit bull mix.

Dr. Frank was born and raised in Old Bridge, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a specialization in Zoology and a minor in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University, just outside of Philadelphia. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Frank enjoys exploring new restaurants, watching movies, traveling the world, and spending time outdoors with her pets—Jared, a tuxedo cat she fostered (and couldn’t give up!) back in New Jersey, and Carlie, a pit bull mix rescued here in California. She and her husband, Nick, love including their pets in their adventures, and Jared even joins them for walks from time to time.

A fun fact about Dr. Frank : In 2024, she traveled to South Africa to do conservation work just outside Kruger National Park, where she participated in rhino dehorning and elephant GPS collaring—an experience she will never forget.
